-Character Name: Simon Deafen -Desired House: Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Syltherin -How did you find The Kingdom? Jason McDrift gave it to members of the Legendary Alliance on Sppf. -Are you a transfer student? No. -Write a role play describing your first time in Diagon Alley purchasing your supplies for your new stay at Hogwarts. Those who do not provide a role play, will not be accepted. Simon marched in to Diagon Alley. Simon always had a tendancey to walk fast, a trait he inherited from his father. His mother, who was walking behind him, was the opposite; She was, as his sister described, walking like a snail. "Hurry up, mum!" He shouted, even though his shout might as well of been a whisper because of the racket of Diagon Alley. Every witch and wizard were chatting loudly or shouting loudly, annoying Simon so much it was unbearable. He hated idiots who wouldn't stop talking. He looked around frantically for Olivander's wand shop. Eventually, he found it. "Mum, I'm just going in to Olvianders!" he shouted. "Get all my other things! Books and robes and stuff!" Simon hoped his mum could hear. He entered Olviander's shop. His first thoughts of the place was that it smelled horrible! He had a look around. Eventually, he classed it as a tiny shop with row upon row of what looked like shoe boxes stacked on shelves. From out of nowhere, an elderly man started shuffling towards him. "Hello" he grinned. This made Simon jump out of his skin, but he was determined to not show it. "Hello. I'm Simon, and I'll be starting Hogwarts soon. I'm here for a wand." Simon decided that he had made a good first impression, as the man smiled at him. "I am Olivander, the wand maker. You look like your favourite magical subject is..... Transfiguration?" "Yes. How did you know?" "I can always tell." He grinned again. "Come." He beckoned Simon over to the corner of the room. Simon quickly marched over. Olivander pasued, then grabbed a box from the bottom shelf. "Here. Holly, 10 Inches, Unicorn hair. Nice and supple. An excellent wand for Transfiguration. Go on, give it a flick!" Simon took the wand from the box and slashed the wand through the air. Red sparks emitted from the end of the wand. "Aha! I knew this wand was the one for you! Here." He thrust the box at Simon. "Take the box and wand, and make sure no harm comes to it. I always liked that wand. Goodbye, Simon. Enjoy Hogwarts!" Simon left the shop, feeling happy now that he had his wand. He saw his mum waving to him from the other end of the street, cauldron and books in hand. He ran over to her. "Mum, look at my wand! Good for Transfiguration, Olviander said!". "Very nice, Simon! Excellent. I always love a sorting sample that doesn't involve millions of wands being used, though granted I did that myself on mine here.  You spelt Ollivander's wrong but as that was it I see no problem accepting you into your chosen.Welcome to Ravenclaw! I am sure your new hjouse will be happy to have you. Classes have just begun so get stuck in and gain some House Points while we are still only on lesson one. The more classes you are in and have completed all lessons in each class, the higher year you will go up. Enjoy. Professor Hurst. |
